Taking Kitchen Design to the Next Level

Ohana Building Supply’s locally stocked cabinetry reaches new heights, figuratively and literally, in this beautifully remodeled West Oahu kitchen. Framed by soaring 12-foot ceilings and filled with natural light, the space provided the perfect canvas for a clean, contemporary transformation.

Compared to the original, the new kitchen feels grander, sleeker, and even more welcoming than before. By using precise 3D modeling and realistic cabinetry rendering, the perfect balance of black, white, and warm tones was carefully refined early in the design process. The result is a seamless install, precise fitment, and visual harmony between light and dark elements.

The original builder-grade cabinets have been replaced with Ohana’s premium frameless cabinetry. A dramatic 12-foot-tall Dark Wood cabinetry stack anchors the space, its rich texture serving as a bold focal point. This vertical emphasis is echoed in the central structural column, which has been wrapped in the same finish to seamlessly integrate an immovable item into the overall design.

Glossy White upper cabinets brighten the kitchen and tie in Ohana’s Pure White countertops. Clear glass cabinets introduce an added layer of sophistication, with dark bronze frames and warm integrated lighting that transforms normal storage into a display case. This soft lighting continues beneath the cabinetry and into the adjacent dining area, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The island was also thoughtfully reimagined. Previously designed with a raised, three-sided bar, it has been leveled to a single large surface that encourages casual dining and everyday use. A waterfall edge adds the final finishing touch, completing the balance of dark and light tones.

Best of all, this transformation was achieved without relocating any plumbing or appliances. Visit Ohana Building Supply’s local showrooms today to see how they can elevate your space through thoughtful design.
